• 2021-2022: Volunteered with “Road to Recovery”, an organization that provides transportation for Palestinian children and their families from checkpoints to hospitals in Israel for medical treatment.

• 2002-2010: Primary caregiver for my child, Alma, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Developed resilience, crisis management skills, and the ability to navigate complex medical systems while balancing personal and professional responsibilities.

Current Ongoing Research

 • "The Sense of Space, Feelings of Motion, Emotions, and Sensations in NDEs". In collaboration with Bar Ilan University's Cognitive Neurosciences Department (Professor Roy Salomon) and  the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS). Data collection : March 2023 to 2025.

 • Ongoing collaboration with Professor Ben Thompson (University of Waterloo), an expert in optical physiology, focused on objectifying the visual physiological basis of representations reported by Near-Death Experiencers.

 • Collaboration with David Lobser (Profile) on a pilot project to develop a 3D digital version of a questionnaire for Near-Death Experiencers, designed for administration in hospital settings.

 • Collaborating with Professor Guillaume Tahar (BIMSA) and Dr. Ben-Michael Kohli (YMSC, Tsinghua University) on the development of a virtual reality application for knot theory, enabling the creation and computation of knots in an immersive environment.
